Cat Destructive Behavior Problems

Or ... why some cats are force out of the house...

Urine spraying, is a not uncommon problem with cats.   It seems to be even more of a problem for cats that belonging to multiple cat households.

New exciting remedies do exist if your cat is urinating out of the box or spraying urine.  Felispray is a prescription medication that is a synthetic pheromone of the cat.  It works great to calm cats and often works very well to lessen and even eliminate "spraying" of cats.

Clawing and Scratching furniture, walls, doorways, and even you,  cats unlike other pets actually must sharpen their claws.  It is natural.  Their claws stay sharp because they grow new sharp ones and need to shed the dull outside layer of the claw.

Consider Your Choices

New  Comfort and Precision LASER  Onychectomy LASER  used in this application is ideal.  Most importantly ... it greatly increases post operative comfort! No bandages post-op.  No bleeding.  No swollen paws. No sutures.  Most  cats will are able walk on their paws within minutes after surgery.  They go home the following day instead of spending two nights in the hospital.  We feel so good about it come and ask to observe a procedure yourself.  You won't believe your eyes how simple and compassionate the procedure is for them.

At last clients can peaceably coexist with their cat. A humanely declawed cat certainly strengthens the bond with an owner.  Owners are no longer resentful of the destructive behavior rained upon them by claws.  Ask a friend who has had their pet laser declawed and see how they now enjoy their "new" friend.   Then you decide based on someone who has experience with the laser procedure.

Do nothing

Right!  You just get new furniture.   The last stuff was shredded.  Your getting older and your skin tears easily when the cat barely touches you. Your landlord will not allow a claw intact cat in your apartment because their experience has show them cats may be very destructive. Why do you think many cats are in shelters??  Medical problems?   Not usually.   Think again ... it is destructive behavior problems and over breeding.

Train a cat Some cats learn what is appropriate to scratch on and others do not.  It is that simple.  Training or encouraging them to use a "scratching post"  is ideal.  All would agree.  But often it is impossible.  Not to mention expensive.   Cats can be stubborn.  Go figure.  A stubborn feline?
Removing to outdoors If they persist to scratch many persons opt to put their Friend's outdoors!  What they don't sometimes think about is that being outdoors puts their beloved pet at risk of being hit by a car, mauled by a dog, shot by an angry neighbor, chewed on by other cats or raccoons, or even eaten by a coyote.  Now, how humane is this???  Infectious diseases and destruction of wildlife is also a concern.
